Model United Nations – Oregon’s oldest youth organization – offers high school students a chance to partake in a simulation of the UN, exploring contemporary world issues related to security, economics, human rights, health and the environment. Each year, approximately 1,500 delegates arrive at the annual three-day conference in Eugene. Model UN not only fosters global citizenship but also develops important skills such as leadership, teamwork, public speaking and negotiation. Furthermore, we invite notable guest-speakers, host a crisis simulation and feature enjoyable Friday-Night-Fun events. If your school would like to join, register here!
This year’s 2017 Oregon MUN Conference will take place on Thursday-Saturday, April 13-15th. The venue is the newly constructed EMU at the heart of the University of Oregon's campus.
