TALENTED AND GIFTED STUDENTS

Talent and gifted students have a yearlong program that provides accelerated learning to student of all ages and at their pace of learning.

The curriculum can be molded to the individual student. The MUN conference provides a wide range of learning opportunities in social skills, leadership skills, clustering, and brainstorming.

The advisors are provided free of charge a wealth of research-based and practical resources designed to help educators meet the needs of gifted and talented students in school settings.

Under the correct conditions and using the full spectrum of material the OHSIRL MUN program can help a school district meet it's legal obligation to provided talented and gifted educational opportunities in an economical fashion. The flexible grouping opportunities allow students to advance in writing, research, social, leadership skills and artistic skills. The self directed nature of the program allows the student and the parents to have a significant role in the design and implementation of the curriculum.

The Web site is filled with practical guidance and classroom-based materials for educators striving to understand and challenge their high potential learners. Mentors are provided to first time advisors. The conference allows the advisors to brain storm and develop educational networks to enhance their future delivery of a talent and gifted program.
